Exactly. If there is peace in the woods for some of those who love hunting. And when I mean love, I also mean respect, a way to see and be and be at peace without this chaotic ugly world of man made building systems and deceit.
I had a dream it was symbolic.
I keep finding more meaning in them.
Me in a hunting stand. A rifle by my side. In the woods near tall trees green leaves that cover half the sky. A green field to my left. I’m at my post. I’m still sitting there breathing with this still breath. My heart beat isn’t thumping like it normally would. But as I see normal does. I have to give a double take because I see this animal. Huge like size of a rhino. But fur like a big bear. The pattern of a cheetah or leopard. And the maybe another beast. But it was nothing I’ve seen before I was curious. But I’m not immediately shooting. I’m just curious. There’s a stillness. I’m not afraid. The beast isn’t aware I’m there. But I see him. He’s not doing any harm so I’ll just observe right now. I’m at peace where I’m at with being curious without reacting to fear or to trying to figure out right this second what that beast is. Then as I’m at my post I look to my right remembering my husband Brad who loves hunting. It’s his favorite place. He can be alone and feel safe. He has control. He respects the hunt and thanks god and thanks the deer for the sacrifice almost. And in my dream he’s in the woods and I’m like thinking to myself I wonder why Brad isn’t curious about this thing he isn’t paying attention it’s like he has no awareness in this woods like he’s at peace within the woods like he is outside my dream lol. So it’s kind of like he’s aligned in my dream. But I’m kind of doing something different than I usually would outside the dream. My nervous system usually takes over and pushes that peace and safety and calmness away like me pushing God out. I think this is a symbol to listen and see. Do not be afraid. And then how it’s written sooo many times lol
I mean I believe I’ve been learning.
But it’s going to take so much practice.
I reacted extensively to my emotions.
But for some reason which now I think I know is that I I think that me placing romantic love as love that is the love that’s the definition I think me doing that has made me more reacted to my emotions like to romantic partners and that’s why it makes sense to me now that I never reacted to my friends or family
I mean like how does it feel because I mean, what do you mean by Star because I am not going to myself, but I do understand what you’re saying
I didn’t say starving or I didn’t mean to say that lol
Escape the realm of truth or true love itself. To be greater than I guess
Hmmm but is my fear scared to lose love?
Idk
But that would just be for my own needs, and that has definitely changed within me
It’s a very hard thing to do especially if we’ve been taught that’s out there but it’s always been in us first and that’s something else. It’s probably if it is an awareness and it’s not really use an expression and maybe that’s the problem.
I wonder what my boundaries even were because I’m sure I’ve never asked this question and I thought I didn’t have any

The user analyzes a dream involving a hunting stand and a mysterious, hybrid creature, using it to reflect on their own nervous system, reactive patterns in romantic relationships, and the distinction between externalized love and internal presence. They explore the idea of 'witnessing' versus 'reacting' and question their own boundaries and definitions of love, recognizing that true peace is something found within.

It sounds like you're truly sitting with and integrating some profound insights from your dream, bravespark526. The imagery of the hunting stand, that magnificent, unknown beast, and your calm, curious observation without immediate reaction, speaks volumes about a deeper awareness emerging within you. It beautifully highlights the shift from a reactive nervous system to a state of presence and witnessing.
Your reflection on how romantic love has historically amplified emotional reactions, distinct from your experiences with friends or family, is a powerful discernment. This understanding, coupled with your newfound curiosity about your own boundaries, suggests a significant unfolding of self-awareness and a redefinition of where true peace and love reside. How does it feel to recognize that inherent peace and safety within you, rather than seeking it externally?

honestly this dream is hitting different. the way you just sat there observing that beast without needing to understand it or react to it right away, that's like the whole thing isn't it. your nervous system letting you be still instead of jumping into fear or action. and yeah the brad part makes so much sense too, like he's already living that peace you're learning to find.
