Academia is a spiritual experience. I remember when I was working in Sephora as a sales & makeup services coordinator; I wanted to die. Genuinely I found no pleasure in life anymore. 32 hours of work a week, & I was going no where with my life. Now I’m a full time student, and sure I got hella academic stress, and I might be broke as fuck but I possess the curiosity of a child. And life is much worth living for, learning and growing. Feeding my inner child’s curiosity, making sense of the world, and knowing that in 2 years I’ll be on a sexy salary. I’m thankful I’m not where I was 2 years ago.
