Wow... When do I feel most likely myself? After a shower, meditation, a long walk, a nice joint... And even more so when I can actually feel and notice the quiet peace that actually surrounds me vs looking for the chaos and trouble. I need to honor the time that I know is important to me in these moments vs using them sometimes as a form of escapism. There isn't anything to escape and I'm learning the true value of what we all have is life... And we get to really make what we want out of it by our thoughts, actions and words. I also know that I can choose to be present in the moment more vs having the escapism of my mind by way of distractions and daydreams and procrastinating.
