When I see people doing crazy successful things I started to think what am I doing. If the ultimate goal is to live a life to fullest every passing year accomplishing nothing feels like a waste. I like experiencing temporary pleasures or momentary hapinesses but dying doing only these things scare me. Before it’s too late I wanna do something in life that I never thought I could handle. Don’t know where to start or what to do, just want to and I’m 20. any thoughts?

Seek and you will find brother!!
When I was about your age, I was in college, and living life with no cares or worries and was partying and having so much fun; and even before that my whole life was based on how I could extract the most happiness and live life to the full (in my own eyes)… so just hear me out.
In my junior year of college, with the help of psychedelics and lots of self reflection over the years, I realized that I was living my life for other people and on other people’s terms and beliefs; and that I needed to change to become who I needed to be. I realized that I believed that there is something greater that is ultimately in control, and I started seeking a relationship with God. I didn’t know how much I just started. I started doing some deep inner work to seek to become the highest version of myself with seeking God, which was new to me; as I was an atheist and never thought about “God” or prayed anytime in my life before that.
When I started seeking, and put effort into becoming the best version of myself and seeking out God; all these “coincidences” started happening; meeting certain people, prayers being answered, certain things happening repeatedly, and life just starts to become magical when you put an effort to accept every part of yourself and see yourself how God see’s you.
Stuff starts aligning naturally if you seek. The deeper you dive into yourself and allow God’s perspective to become your own
This life is bigger than just experiencing its pleasures.
God’s love will lead you to stop chasing outside yourself and to realize you only need to focus on Him to have the freedom within.
Having a relationship with the divine is the greatest investment of your time and energy not simply because it is repaid tenfold with how you move and walk with certainty and faith through this life; but it is about the Love that He has for each and every one of us that He wants us to know and pass on through us.
When you seek God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength; He transforms you by the renewal of your mind. All you have to do is seek and you will find. It’s all in the Bible and it’s all in your soul. Literally read and you can see! (Romans 12:2, Matthew 7:7)
I’m not telling you to start following religion or start worshipping Jesus Christ simply because I do. Don’t listen to me, but seek God and find your purpose that is specifically for you! He made you fearfully and wonderfully and He wants to show you how to use our gifts to glorify our Creator, because we are a reflection of Him! He wants us to be abundant in this world, but true abundance comes from within, and it comes from Him!
Religion is about fear. God is about love.
God just wants a personal relationship with you and wants you to seek Him. There you will find true purpose.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
â€â€Proverbs‬ â€3‬:â€5‬-â€6‬ â€NIV‬‬
This may be a lot, and this is your journey. The kingdom of heaven is within, you have the answers you need for yourself, even if you do not realize it yet. Jesus says “you may not know now, but later you will understand.”
The only two recommendations personally, that helped me come to the point that I’ve come in my faith, if it interests you: is to start praying at night and just come to God honestly with whatever you feel. I talk to God as if I’m talking to a friend on the phone… And second to read the Bible. Look at Jesus and His teachings for yourself and just keep your heart open. If you seek and keep your heart open, God will show you what you are looking for.
When you start seeking, he shows in ways you don’t expect. When He gives you an opportunity, you must say yes and surrender. You will meet and know God for yourself, you just have to be you!
Hope this finds you well, and know that you are exactly where you need to be.
The pursuit for success in this world is never-ending, but the peace that comes from seeking God first, is everlasting.
Blessings to you on this journey on life!
Hope this finds you well ❤️🥂
