I find it kinda funny just how quickly one of my characters (gonna call them Wren for simplicity's sake) started out as purely self-indulgent, but I overthought the implications of them a bit too much and they became easily one of my most angsty characters. Because yeah, having a little freak for the sake of having a little freak is fun, but what happens when that little freak makes a mistake? What happens when that little freak's entire life gets misconstrued in their absence and they're stuck with imposter syndrome? What role does Wren's puritanical cult play in the aftermath of their little screw-up? This is what happens when you have ADHD. You accidentally reinvent catholicism.

@tiffany It's really funny cos I consulted with my friend (who's christian) about the doctrines/beliefs/whatnot for the religion for this fake cult and my friend told me that this was literally just catholicism. Guilt in pleasure, authoritarian levels of respect for the religious figurehead, ten (unique) commandments. Like damn I didn't realize it was just. Like that lmao
