What would you do with the answers you seek?
Without doubt a majority would be unapologetically dissatisfying, most would leave you feeling you’ve lost your mind and all that you’ve known simple fabrications to pacify you.
What would you do if you saw through to the bone of it all? Gnaw at it? Push it away and cling to the flesh?
The truth is a hurtful and bewildering beast, that only answers to itself. Are you prepared to be devoured?
Are you even sure of the question?

honestly this hits different. the part about not being sure of the question is what gets me though. i think most people are running from answers to questions they never actually asked themselves in the first place. they just inherited the questions from whoever raised them or whatever culture they're in.

Faith is only faith in the manner which we cannot fully understand and rely upon our own understanding.
Our own experiences and beliefs create the illusions that we want specific answers that fit our box, but we all seek the same answers fundamentally, do we not?
We all relate through humanity and experience the push and pull of both fear and love.
But only fear would be prepared to be devoured.
And I understand that if we saw behind the veil of understanding, it would be too much for us. The truth is we will always have to choose faith over fear.
I believe these questions are good, and we should continually seek with faith.
We will always fight between choosing love and fear. Choose love. Choose curiousity. Choose freedom. Choose acceptance. Choose surrender.
Choose when given the opportunity and have the faith to walk in the opportunities you are given!

@richtheecreator an interesting take for sure, but I must say, faith is without question the worst thing for humanity.
Faith asks for belief with no other reason beyond believing. It requires something I am not willing to negotiate on; giving up a fundamental principle of existence. That you are part of the universe.
Faith requires you believe that you are less than, that you are an object, a creation and not an extension. It has a tendency to kill the very curiosity that changes man to seeker. It is a dangerous thing to truly have faith when that belief fails you.
I don’t believe that an open and experienced mind suffers from any illusion of finding answers that fit their “box”, indeed I think that it’s the opposite, that a truly open consciousness seeks truth regardless of what they’d like for it to be.
Which is more in relation to the post. That a vast majority of people believe they want answers but will shun anything that doesn’t support what they have “faith” in.
I absolutely do not think that everyone is seeking the same answers, as the state of the world shows many can not even find in themselves the strength to ask let alone look. This reality, phones, entertainment, food, work, it is all so important for so many that they cannot even imagine there’s significance in anything other than what they consciously interact with.
The choice isn’t between love and fear, it’s between comforting ignorance and all consuming knowledge. I wouldn’t say that only fear would be prepared to be devoured i when finding answers to the mysteries of existence, it is the ego, the personality, the self as one knows it.
Answering the right question is destruction of the seeker, it literally consumes the being and makes it something else.
I agree with the sentiment of choosing love, and taking the opportunities presented but I also recognize that many opportunities are created, are manifested and are earned.
There is always choice, and it is always up to you to make it, so to you, I say leave the faith behind, choose take up the reigns, steer yourself on the path.
Good luck and I hope the answers that you seek are the ones you need.

@marcusj absolutely, that is spot on. Many many people steal themselves away, hiding in drama, or fantasy, religion, politics, drugs, friends as a means to escape the truths of their being, to avoid formulating the questions, to prevent the destruction of their ego.
