From Fan to Friend: Unexpected Connection

So earlier this week about Monday, I get a notification that I have a message. I see the name, and I have some skepticism because it is the name of one of my favorite martial artists on FB and IG. So, of course double check.... 😰It's actually him💀 So I open my messenger, go to his message and the first thing I see is a voice note... Well, it's either good, or well at this point I had been staying consistent with being more optimistic in thinking... Turns out, it was for good reason. He and another martial artist I follow as well are creating a comic book series, that I am also very excited for! But .. he messaged me... (And also actually the other martial artist too) And I know that social media is just kinda a bit of a imitation of what bonds we are truly capable of having with other human beings... But for once, not only talking to two of my favorite martial artists, I felt like I was talking to a homie... Not like beneath or below or even above... At equal levels, eye to eye. Having that nowadays is important and I didn't really see the value of it this way until this prompt. 🙏🏾💯

@skyewizzy sometimes the prompts don't resonate with me, but when they do it's a great introspection. That's hella tight they reached out too! Have they posted some parts of the comic?

@thegrimreefer What I've seen so far is what I think is the cover art for the series. And if I'm not mistaken, I think one of the artists did a voiceover reading of a segment of the book in Peter Griffin's voice 😂
