All the time. I joke about wiping the debt and starting over, but seriously...all it does it put us in this cycle of our money not being our own, and that nothing comes without strings attached.

@aquaticram exactly it only keeps at a balance once you repay it. It can only create a lack of value or at best become nothing once again. It keeps the world dependent on propping up the system of credit and debt. Debt/credit are just the spirit of value.

@erick absolutely in the case of Haiti especially it caused much ruin and decline because of French pillaging and then the acquisition of that debt by citi bank that then restarted the debt.

@prophet the true creator of value in all cases in labor that’s what anything even worth selling. Yet because of that place holder labor is exploited as a commodity
