Runtz X J: Navigating Career Anxiety & Life Goals

I have been home for one week, and still very much enjoying the comforts of home. I've been applying to a few jobs a day, with no real expectation I'll hear back from anyone before Christmas, maybe New Year's. I have a doctor's appointment that first week of 2026, so I'll probably go at least that long before I panic and start looking for part-time jobs close to wherever I am now. My wife is afraid that settling for a part-time job would kill my enthusiasm for finding a full-time job elsewhere we can move to, and thereby upgrade our whole life. Hopefully, I will have a couple offers before I really get a chance to worry about it.
