my horoscope for today was "don't rush yourself to feel better," which i think is something i really needed to hear. i know that i'm in a bipolar depressive episode - staying at a friend's house helped, the self care I did there (a hot bath, which i never get because our tub is filthy, tons of reading, trying out earlier mornings and incorporating smoking flower into my morning routine) helped. i feel better enough that i almost forget i'm in it, and could convince myself it was over. but i know they never only last that long, and if i go back to my routine that isn't this depression-care, i'll slip right back, and super quickly. i have to keep treating myself like i'm hurt even if i feel better.
